Orders

 1. Pricing

• All products are priced in Singapore Dollars (SGD).
• There is no Goods & Services Tax (GST) imposed by us.

 2. Order & Payment

• Full payment is required to be made and received by us, and a confirmation message sent by us to you, before your order is considered accepted and confirmed.
• It is your responsibility to ensure that all details in the order confirmation are correct and complete. Additional charges may apply if the information provided is incorrect while we are processing your order.

 3. Product Information

• All suggested servings and sizes are estimates. We do not measure the size of our bakes by weight.
• All our bakes are handmade from scratch. Therefore, there might be minor differences (such as in design and colour) from the references provided.
• Certain materials used in our cakes may become obsolete. We will do our best to choose replacement products that are as close to the original design as possible, including in terms of colour. We reserve the right to replace items with components of equal or higher quality without consulting you first.
• Our bakes contain sugar, milk, and eggs.
• We might need to use food colouring to accomplish your intended design. These food dyes are non-toxic and have no negative side effects. However, certain food colourings (especially dark colours) may stain your teeth temporarily. Should you be concerned about this, you may scrape off the outer cream coating.
• To make images edible, they will be printed on edible sugar papers (icing print). Such 2D edible images can differ in terms of saturation, brightness, and sharpness from electronic copies of pictures or pictures printed on non-edible paper.
• Cake decorations may include non-edible components such as toy figurines and dowels or skewers. These are necessary for support and structuring. Please remove your cake decorations before cutting your cake. We do not recommend consuming cake decorations (including fondant figurines).

 4. Self-Collection & Delivery

• We offer self-collection at our premises and delivery services every day.
• Seven (7) calendar days’ notice is required for changes in delivery or self-collection date, delivery address, or timeslot. Additional charges may apply, depending on the required changes.
• Kindly ensure that there is someone available at the delivery address during the entirety of your selected delivery timeslot. Our courier partners will wait for a maximum of 10 minutes, during which they will attempt to contact the sender and/or recipient. Thereafter, the courier may place the items in a secure location near the door, such as a door handle or a cabinet, in which case we will not be held liable for the items' condition. If, however, the delivery location cannot be accessed or if our courier partner deems unsuitable, the items will be returned to premises. A re-delivery fee will apply, in the event one is required.
• When products are delivered, the recipient is fully responsible for checking that the items received are correct, complete, and in good condition. Any disputes regarding cake damage or incorrect cake design will not be entertained if not raised to us immediately at the time of delivery. We will not be liable for any damage if not so raised to us immediately.
• When collecting the products in-store, the person collecting is fully responsible for ensuring that the details of the cake order are correct. Any disputes regarding item damage or incorrect cake design will not be entertained if they are not raised to us immediately at the time of collection. We will not be liable for any damage once the items have left our premises.

5. Cake care

• Our cakes (both buttercream or fondant) can be left out in a cold air-conditioned room for 1 to 2 hours. Otherwise, the cake should be refrigerated.
• Kindly note that the above timeframe is just an estimate. Please monitor the surrounding conditions and general weather on the day. A more humid environment or day will cause the cake decorations to melt earlier. If you observe any drooping of the cake decorations, it is definitely time to gather your guests for cake cutting.
• If your cake has been refrigerated, please remove them from the fridge to thaw for 30 minutes, for best texture.
• Avoid exposing your cake to direct heat sources or the sun at all times.
• Leftover cake slices may be kept in an airtight container and refrigerated. Please consume within 2 to 3 days.

 6. Order Amendment, Refund & Cancellation

• Order amendments (including changes to design or postponements) are permitted, provided that seven (7) calendar days' notice is given and subject always to our bakery's availability. Additional charges may apply, depending on the scope of your required amendments. AFTERS BAKERY will not provide a refund in the event a replacement product or amended order is requested which is lower in value as compared to your original order.
• Order cancellations are permitted, provided that seven (7) calendar days' notice is given. However, AFTERS BAKERY will not provide a refund. In the event of an order cancellation with at least seven (7) calendar days' notice, you will receive store credits equivalent to the amount paid. The store credits will be valid for 6 months.
• In the event an amendment, postponement, or cancellation is requested with less than seven (7) calendar days' notice, no refund or store credit will be provided.
